These are the mouth watering stamps issued on Gastronomy which was EUROPA theme for the year 2005.

"Bread and salt!" – guests are welcomed in Russia with these words for centuries. Both in old times and nowadays various delicious are put on the table and pancakes with caviar have been commonly served to feasts for many centuries.

The stamp design features a Hungarian speciality, chicken paprika with dumplings. The four stamps comprising the sheet form a laid table. On the edges of the sheet other gastronomic motifs can be seen.

Here are some very nice stamps and Miniature sheets of "Preserve Polar Regions and Glaciers " series issued to create awareness of Global Warming. These issues seem to be very touching since above Miniature sheet depicts an innocent Polar Bear in tears, and below penguins going to sink and on another stamps by Equador depict paws of Polar bear on small piece of Ice and the whole earth sinking !

Hope these issues best convey the message for the awareness of Glpbal Warming .
